Design Progress: Baby Hat Photos

It's really hard to take pictures of Jelly these days that aren't fuzzy! She is On The Move.

I've made the littlest of my loves quite a few hats. Her head seems to be growing really fast.

This little hat's working title is 'Pooch'. I think the ear flaps are cute but need to make a second version to get them just right. Maybe they could be a little bigger? I'll keep you posted.

Design Progress: Snowdrops Schematic

Today I managed to make a lot of progress on my Snowdrops sweater pattern. This design was conceived more than two years ago as 'Buttercup'  and is to be included in I Will Absolutely Wear It.

I've had some real mental blocks with this pattern, hence it being waaaaay overdue, but I seem to have finally turned a corner with it!

I'm really enjoying using Powerpoint to make schematics these days, since Paul gave me a quick tutorial when I was failing to draw one straight into a Word doc in February. Note: Living with Someone Who Can Use A Computer only helps if you listen and let them help you :D

New Blog!

As I begin to resurface from the BABY ZONE, it felt right to put aside the old Lioness Arts blog and start afresh.

This sparkly new blog will evolve as I do, as a knitter and a designer.

My aim for now is to regularly & succinctly record and share my design process and progress. I hope you'll join me :)
